When our communities found it impossible to find affordable insurance coverage in the private market, municipalities pooled their resources in order to assure that they were protected against potentially devastating losses. The Workers’ Compensation and General Liability plans were created to provide the most comprehensive coverage available without the threat of annual cancellation.
